I wouldn't give this site that freedom with my photos. Just Google your handle and see if your profile has been used on any of their affiliate sites or stolen and used elsewhere. My profile and handle had been used on a Japanese site and the profile slightly modified to appear that I'm interested in gay males along with women and I'm not interested in men at all as stated in my original profile. Also I work part time at some colleges here. As part of our employment agreement, being found on this site or on other social media with compromising pictures of any degree could be grounds for dismissal. All I'm really saying is be careful with what you allow out of your control. It may live forever on the cloud and maybe given a different label or a new name. Chat a bit first, and see if you have the right chemistry first, that you might want to exchange a pic or two before meeting, or cam perhaps. Then hopefully meet in a neutral place for coffee, a drink and/or food, to see if you both share some common interests, feel safe, and wish to go further; that is of course unless you feel confident about the other and like the rush and butterflies of stranger sex. Cleanliness is important to be sure! I don't dare post a full nude with face pics due to privacy reasons (not due to being in a relationship LO . I did try a dressed pic (without face) but it garnered absolutely no interest. The nude pics do okay. Given the female ratio on here it is satisfactory--even when I account for the fakes that view! One can tell a lot about a person without even seeing their face. Things like backgrounds can reveal much. Even feet and hands can tell if someone is overweight, has self-esteem, and in some cases not clean! Ultimately, before meeting, though, I do exchange the face pics ... I'd like to think what is presented is their best, so it should be CLEAN and well-groomed.

Of course being a man, I think the profile picture is important. But I also look at a woman's other pictures. I pay attention to what she is doing, where she is, the background, her face, her eyes, her earrings, etc. And I read her profile to see what we may have in common and get an idea of her attitude and what she is looking for. Some of the profiles I have gotten most interested in were the women who shared common interests with me. Those I will definitely contact.

They list hardly any information to pique "anyone's" interest at all yet expect positive interaction. But will post "Ask Me," seriously?! Um, no thanks, I'll pass...lol It's just not realistic.  Seems like the majority of male members here have little to no profile at all. They "collect" hundreds of other members' pictures and those pictures become part of their "barely there" profiles. If they post anything at all; most times it will just be a dick pic, even one that's not their own. We already know that they have one; doesn't mean they have to "be" one. Most women don't want to see it as their introduction, just saying. News flash, in case they didn't know, dicks really don't photograph well, no matter the size or shape...lol I guess most don't realize that apps like Tineye will/can verify authenticity. If I view these "ghost" members' profiles; and see that they are just picture collectors; I block them on the spot. Just like the text in the profile, profile picture tell you something about the other person. At minimum, the profile picture is a way to say "this is how I want to be perceived." Of course, pictures are not the only criteria for chatting but the profile pic is very influential.

I'm always super cautious about what pictures and information I put up on any site. Any picture you post can be copied by someone who wants to use that picture to trick/defraud/catfish someone else, or just use for trading down the line. The worst case scenario, which I think someone mentioned, is someone using your own pictures to create a copy of your profile. That being said, I try to put up pictures that are good quality, well-lit, and show me as at least being clean. Pictures quality is as important to me as the content of the picture itself.
